An artful curved picket fence encloses this delightful English-inspired tea salon which boasts all the opulence and enchanting eccentricities of its older Darlinghurst sibling including a whimsical cupcake clad chandelier centrepiece.
Chef Joe Gambacorta’s menu features traditional High Tea, gourmet brunch items and light refreshment options including dainty ribbon sandwiches. Substantial lunch dishes such as tea smoked chicken salad with snow peas & fresh lime & lychee dressing, or twice-baked cheese soufflé with herb salad & grilled stone fruit best enjoyed with a glass of wine.
A crowd favourite is The Tea Salon’s specialty scone menu featuring ten mouth-watering varieties including, lemon, pistachio & currant; white chocolate & cranberry; lavender; pumpkin & ginger; and cheddar & thyme. Shoppers may choose to dine in or take a scone home, along with a tin of The Victoria Room’s premium-grade loose leaf tea.
